Pascha–the feast of the glorious resurrection from the dead of our Lord Jesus Christ–is the greatest feast of the Church year. It is not even listed among the twelve great feasts because it is set above them as the jewel of a crown. The “night brighter than the day” of the feast is always beautiful and memorable. At our parish extra care is taken by all to ensure that the feast is especially beautiful so that our celebrations may truly reflect the dignity and importance of Christ’s Resurrection.
In a desire to share the liturgical splendor of our tradition and “evangelize through beauty,” the New Liturgical Movement blog has just sent out a post entirely dedicated to the Holy Week and Paschal services from our parish. You can check it out here.
New Liturgical Movement has shared pictures of our parish several times before. Thank you Gregory DiPippo!
